The medieval city of Sighisoara, Transylvania/Romania

 

Sighisoara is a beautiful medieval town in Transylvania. It has got a multicultural European history. Part of the old Austrian-Hungarian empire there was a German population with also Hungarian influence. The city is under the protection of UNESO.
