Games traditional or modern:

Explain or demonstrate a traditional or modern game. Because there is a large variety of games you are free to choose a method of introduction.

The pranks of our grandparents:

Children ask their grandparents about their pranks and tricks. They write it down and illustrate or demonstrate it.

Cooking traditional or modern :

Cook a local dish with your class, take photos and translate the recipe. The Icelandic partner school will publish it in a cookery book.

Traditional festivals:

Which days of the year are your holidays and special days? Pupils make paintings which are used for a board game about traditional festivals.

Story-bag:

Write down and illustrate a legend of your area. The hero of the story is portrayed by a figure made of a wooden spoon. All “ingredients” of the story are put in the story-bag.

Internet football tournament:

Children or classes take part in an internet football tournament. They can do so at school or individually at home.

European travel “relay-essay”:

One continuing story that passes through all schools.
A travel story, with new adventures at every new school an new city. The story begins in Sweden and passes through all partner schools. Each partner adds his part.
